Give me an "E" for Engaged Learners

How "sticki" is the task for the learner? What is the passion, zest, and energy generated with the task? Engaged does not mean adding novelty to entice students to do work they are NOT generally inclined to do -- it does NOT mean students being entertained or amused or willing to do tasks they would't do without the tech "toys." Engaged means tapping into the curiosity (using OPEN reasoning/thinking questions that requires making meaning), affinity (learner interests, talents and strengths), and agency (personal ownership of learning- intrinsic motivation) of learners in ways that FLOW is created with the task and work being produced. The kind of task that screams --"You CAN'T make me stop learning!"
